Ministries

The congregation meets monthly nine months of the year to fellowship and write love notes to those in spiritual and physical need. Wednesday in the summer are Summer Series with guest speakers and the ladies have a retreat each year. Christmas is the time of year for caroling as a congregation. The youth group frequently has devotionals and competes monthly in Bible knowledge competition against other congregations in Walker County. Annually they attend camp and participate in Extreme, a weekend outdoor team building experience.

Every week after evening service the youth of the church gather to study and grow in their spiritual walk through the Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes program. The 5th grade and under have a group that visits nursing homes and makes care packages for the elderly as well as sponsors a Valentines luncheon for the widows and widowers. Easter brings the annual egg hunt.

There are endless opportunities to grow in the Lord with the East Walker Church of Christ. Please come and grow with us!
